Classic Nelson #3

Another week, another poor performance by Tennessee: Fulmer on the hot seat

The Tennessee Vols struggled to beat Northern Illinois 13-9. A team that cbssportsline.com had ranked 99th out of the 120 fbs teams. Long time UT coach Phillip Fulmer is feeling the heat. This week a UT football talk show made said that if Jon Crompton started only around 20,000 fans would show up at the game. 20 minutes later, Fulmer named Nick Stephens his starting qb. Nick did have a long TD pass in the game, but a 13-9 win is unacceptable. I think this will be Phil's last year at UT. With that I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Former UT offensive coordinator David Cutcliff will be the next head man at UT. Cutcliff also held a spot at Ole Miss as head coach going 44-29. He lead them to a 10-3 seson in 2003 and 13th place in the final rankings. He is currently the head coach at Duke. This is his first year at Duke which he is 3-2.
