Okay, there may have been a small lesson here or there, but what did we truly see that we didn't already know? Nothing. Everything seemed to stay the same. All we figured out is that the winner of the Oregon Bowl (or whatever the hell they call it up there) will go to the Rose Bowl. I spent my time soaking in some SEC action. This taught me that Ole Miss wasn't completely over-rated, they just didn't know how to use the talent they had earlier in the season. I also learned that Kentucky has great things in their future under Rich Brooks.
On a national level, nothing was decided outside some Pac-10 clarification. I guess you could say we learned that Ole' Charlie won't be back for season six at Notre Dame, but we already knew that. We also already knew that Les Miles was nothing short of a few things I cannot call him in this article. It has been clear the man doesn't know a thing about coaching, and the late debacle that lost the game for them proves it. He wasted 15 precious seconds before he used that timeout late in the game, then allowed his QB to try to spike it with 1 second left. What in the name of Mike the Tiger was he thinking? LSU deserves better.
