Classic Nelson #2

The Vols have named a new starting passer versus Northern Illinois and Auburn seems to support the lethargic spread and sputter.

The Tennessee Volunteers (whose fans have shed many tears this year) have announced that they will bench Jon Crompton. Nick Stephens will be UT's new field general. Nick does not have much experience. He was 1-2 for 45 yards vs UAB. He had 1 rush for 5 yards.
UT head coach Phillip Fulmer made this statement during a press conference.

"Nick has made progress and he deserves the chance to see how he does in a football game. That's for our team, We need an offensive lift at this point, and the team is first."

Meanwhile, down on the plains, Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville has stated that he loves Auburn's so called "offense". I can't believe such a crock of bull. Has Tubby even been watching Auburn? Oh and Tony Franklin the "spread guru" has basically cursed himself out in front of the media and insulted himself for the offenses failure.

So, I believe this week Tubby will mix in some classic Aubie powerball to try to win against Vandy. After all, Bama's powerball looks good.
